Two sterilised 1.6kg wheat Grain Bags.

Autoclaved, then placed inside a bag in front of a Flow Hood to ensure they are 100% clean.

To innoculate the bag with agar

  1. Open outer bag and remove the sterile bag
  2. Unroll the sterile grain bag and open the top
  3. Put in agar, refold the bag and close with zip tie
  4. Dont shake the bag until you see a white patch forming

To innoculate with a syringe

  1. Open outer bag and remove the sterile bag
  2. Unroll the bag and inject, do not wipe the port its already sterile.
  3. Use the zip ties to close the bag.
  4. Dont shake the bag until you see a white patch forming
